So I was jogging yesterday when it dawned on me that I have avoided playing any game or group activity in which there is a winner and a loser. I avoided sports when I was young, choosing cheerleading where no one loses and I always get to smile.

I see that it was the competition I was avoiding in the outside reality-I much prefer to play a game with no stakes and no losers-this way I get to make up all of my own rules in my head and continuously skew the features of how to 'win' the unspoken competition so that I am remarkably always the winner! I am so smart :-) If only all of my invisible friends could be so sharp.
